Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a list of the questions we are asked most often. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further enquiries.

Do you require a deposit?

A non-refundable £200 deposit will confirm any booking. A receipt will be sent to you confirming the booking, wedding date and outstanding balance.

When is the balance due?

At the pre-wedding meeting, normally one month before the wedding.

Will you follow a list of requested shots?

Individuality is what we are all about! TDH media appreciates that some clients wish to be guided throughout their day, while others have very definite plans and expectations.

Are we expected to provide you with any food and drink?

Not at all. You have enough to pay for!

How will you be dressed at the wedding?

Very smartly, in a suit/skirt, shirt, tie and shoes.

Do I need a video licence?

Only if you choose a Video or Marryoke package. Click here for more information.

How soon after the wedding will my DVDs be finished?

We aim to have a copy awaiting your approval by the day you arrive back from your honeymoon, usually two weeks after your wedding. During peak season, this may occasionally extend to four weeks, but never any longer than that.

Can we choose the music for the video?

We'd prefer not have it any other way. It is a must for that personal touch!

Can I have the uncut footage from my wedding on DVD?

Yes, but this takes time for us to process, and therefore incurs a charge of £100.

What is your cancellation/postponement policy?

We try not to complicate things, but if your wedding is cancelled/postponed within 6 months of the date, we will require 50 per cent of the full fee, and we will require 100 per cent if it is within 3 months. Click here to read our Terms and Conditions.

By which methods do you accept payment?

Bank transfer, cheque, cash and credit card.

May I have the master tapes after the DVD is complete?

Yes you may, but we do not make duplicates as standard practice, so if you were to lose or damage your originals, there would be no possibility of any replacement.

Do you record, edit and supply in HD?

Yes, yes, yes!

Are you insured?

We are; we have full Public and Professional Indemnity insurance up to £1,000,000.

How safe are my digital files?

As soon as we finish filming and shooting at any wedding, everything is backed up twice over, once on a Raid storage system and again on an optical disc.

Can I purchase additional copies of my DVD?

Extra copies of your DVD can be purchased for £20 each at any time after your wedding.
